Join Hampstead Chamber Choir and Profs en Chœur from Paris, for an evening of French, English and American music. Amongst other beautiful music will be some of Copland’s Old American Songs, Poulenc’s Chansons Françaises, Vaughan Williams’ Three Shakespeare Songs, and Tavener’s Song for Athene. The two choirs will sing their own programmes and will combine to sing Stanford’s The Blue Bird and Saint-Saëns’ Calme des Nuits. Une soirée excitante!
Selections from J.S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. With additional music by Adam, Lauridsen, Rutter and others, and carols for choir and audience Tickets £12 Concession £10 Under 16 free with an adult. Online box office closes at 12pm (noon) on the day of the concert. Tickets can be purchased on the door (cash/cheques only).
